Privacy Policy — Card Shark Games

This privacy policy applies to the sixteen-game Card Shark family of Android apps published by Innovizea LLC ("we", "us") — Card Shark 21, Card Shark Ultimate Hold'em, Card Shark Poker, Card Shark 3 Card Poker, Card Shark Baccarat, Card Shark Caribbean Stud, Card Shark Criss Cross Poker, Card Shark DJ Wild, Card Shark I Luv Suits, Card Shark Let It Ride, Card Shark Mississippi Stud, Card Shark Pai Gow Poker, Card Shark War, Card Shark Craps, Card Shark Roulette and Card Shark Slots. Collectively, "the apps".
Other Innovizea products have their own policies, because they collect different things: Thunk: Shape Fit Puzzle · Choptick.
Summary
The apps are free-to-play casino simulations for entertainment and training. They use virtual chips only — there is no real-money gambling and no cash prizes. We do not require an account. You can play every game, and use the shared Card Shark profile, without signing in to anything. If you choose to sign in with Google — to share one chip balance across your Card Shark games and to get it back if you change phones — we then hold the email address of that Google account, and nothing else about you. Otherwise your chips and play record are stored on our servers against an anonymous identifier — see Shared Card Shark profile below, which also covers how to delete it.
Data stored on your device
Your bankroll, statistics, settings, and purchase/unlock state are stored on your device, and uninstalling an app removes that local data. Settings and Pro/unlock state are only ever stored on the device. Your chips, level, cosmetics and play statistics are also stored on our servers if you use the shared Card Shark profile, described below.
Third-party services
The apps use the following services, which may collect data under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — rewarded video ads, which you choose to watch in exchange for chips or a temporary unlock, and interstitial ads, shown full-screen between hands. Every app serves both; Pro removes all ads. May collect a device advertising identifier (AD_ID) and related data to serve and measure ads. Ads may be personalized where you provide consent through the in-app consent screen (shown where required by law, e.g. the EEA, UK, and certain US states); otherwise non-personalized ads are served. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Billing / RevenueCat — processes the optional one-time "Pro" in-app purchase. We receive anonymized purchase history (purchase and entitlement status), not your payment details.
- Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore — used only for the shared Card Shark profile, in the thirteen card games. Authentication issues the anonymous identifier; Firestore stores the profile described below. No sign-in is involved and no personal information is sent to either. Card Shark Craps, Roulette and Slots do not use these services at all.
- Google Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous app-interaction and usage data (for example, which screens and features are opened, and app-performance/crash signals) to help us understand how the apps are used and improve them. This is aggregate usage analytics tied to a device/advertising identifier, not to your identity.
Consistent with our Google Play Data safety declaration, the apps collect Device or other IDs (the advertising ID, and the anonymous profile identifier), Purchase history, App interactions, and — where the shared profile is in use — other user-generated content (your chip balance, level, cosmetics and play statistics), used for app functionality, analytics, and advertising/marketing. We do not collect location, contacts, photos, messages, or financial account information, and we do not sell your data.
Shared Card Shark profile
Each Card Shark game normally keeps everything on your device. If you choose to use the shared Card Shark profile, one balance and one record are kept for you across every Card Shark game you install, in Google Cloud Firestore. This applies to the thirteen card games; Card Shark Craps, Roulette and Slots have no shared profile.
What is stored: your virtual chip balance, XP and level, which cosmetic items (card backs and felts) you have unlocked and which are equipped, your daily-bonus streak per game, and per-game play statistics — hands played, wins, losses, pushes, and how often your play matched the strategy the game teaches.
What it is stored against, by default: an anonymous identifier issued by Firebase Authentication. It is a random string. There is no email address, no name and no phone number, and it is not linked to your real-world identity, to your Google account, or to your advertising ID. It is created on the device, and because nothing outside the device points at it, it is not recoverable by us or by you if the app is uninstalled.
If you sign in with Google. Signing in is optional and exists for two things the anonymous identifier cannot do: sharing one chip balance across the Card Shark games you have installed, and getting that balance back if you change or lose your phone. It is offered in More Card Shark Games → Connect your Card Shark games, and nothing prompts you to do it.
When you do, the profile above is stored against your Google account instead of the anonymous identifier, and we hold the email address of that account. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not request access to your contacts, calendar, Drive, or anything else in your Google account. The email address is used to recognise you across your Card Shark games and for nothing else — it is not used for marketing, we do not send email to it, and it is never sold or shared.
Signing in on a second game adds that game's chips to your shared balance, once. Signing out returns that game to a new anonymous identifier and leaves the shared profile intact for your other games; signing back in returns to it. Pro is a Google Play purchase and is per game — signing in here neither moves it nor unlocks it anywhere else.
What we do with it: run the shared wallet and show you your own record. That is all. It is not sold, not shared with any third party, not used for advertising, and not used to build a profile of you. It is stored in a Firebase project operated by Innovizea LLC, encrypted in transit, and is not processed ephemerally — persisting is the entire point of it.
How to delete it. Every Card Shark card game has Settings → Delete Shared Profile. It removes the whole record — chips, level, cosmetics, streaks and statistics — from our Firestore database, across every Card Shark game, and deletes the identity itself — the anonymous identifier, or the account if you signed in with Google — so the next launch starts a new and unrelated one. It cannot be undone and it cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us. The game keeps working on its own local save. If you would rather we did it, write to support@innovizea.com, or use the deletion page — but the in-app button is faster.
The button appears in Settings only while a shared profile actually exists. If you have never had one, there is nothing to delete and nothing is shown.
Children
The apps are intended for a general adult audience (simulated gambling) and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data security & retention
Data transmitted by the above services is encrypted in transit. The only personally identifiable information we ever hold is the email address of a Google account, and only if you chose to sign in — we never hold a name, a phone number or a password, and if you do not sign in we hold nothing that identifies you at all. On-device data is removed by uninstalling, and the advertising identifier is resettable in your device settings. The shared Card Shark profile is the one thing we hold on a server; it is keyed to an anonymous identifier or to that account, and is deleted, permanently, by Settings → Delete Shared Profile in any Card Shark card game, or on request to support@innovizea.com. We keep it for as long as it is in use.
