Thunk: Shape Fit Puzzle · Android
Fit the shapes you're given into the outline you're shown. No overlaps, nothing hanging over the edge, every cell covered exactly once — and there is always a perfect answer, because the board was built by tiling it with the very shapes you have in hand.
Twenty of them, each introduced on its own level and then combined with the ones you already know. Some constrain the board, some constrain the tray — a shape you may not use, a piece you have to place first, an order you have to follow.
Stars measure how fast you solved it, so the intended thing to do after a slow finish is play it again and beat yourself. Anything that meters retries would punish exactly the behaviour the game is built around.
Seeded from the UTC date, so it is the same puzzle worldwide on the same day. Hints and skips are switched off on it — a shared time only means something if everybody played it the same way.
The share card draws the outline you were given, never the solution you found. Posting your result cannot ruin the board for the person reading it.
Levels are generated on demand from a seed and verified solvable before you see one, rather than drawn from a fixed pack. There is no last level to reach.
Optionally connect with people you invite and see their times next to yours. It is opt-in — nothing is published until you add a friend.
Thunk is rated E for Everyone and is free to play, supported by ads, with an optional one-time purchase to remove them.
Thunk has its own privacy policy — the friends feature stores a display name on our behalf, which the rest of our apps do not do. Read it here: Thunk privacy policy.
